Hair Essence LLC (“Hair Essence,” “we,” or “us”) is a by-appointment natural hair studio in Lexington, SC. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it — we keep it to a minimum.

Information we collect

When you book an appointment, we collect the name and mobile number you provide, and any reference photos you choose to upload to show the style you want. We do not ask you to create an account or password, and we do not collect payment-card details on this site.

How we use your information

We use your information only to schedule and confirm your appointment, to send appointment reminders and updates, and — for any reference photos — to prepare for your service.

Text messages

By booking, you agree to receive text messages about your specific appointment (confirmations and reminders). These are transactional, not marketing. Reply STOP at any time to opt out; message and data rates may apply.

What we never do

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the studio and its booking (for example, to send your reminder text), and only as needed to provide the service you requested.

Cookies & analytics

This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work. If we enable website analytics, we use privacy-friendly, aggregate measurement that helps us understand overall traffic and does not identify you personally.

Keeping your information

We keep appointment information for as long as we need it for our records and to meet any legal or tax obligations, and no longer than necessary.

Minors

A parent or guardian must book and accompany clients who are minors (except ages 14+). We do not knowingly collect information from children without a guardian's involvement.

Booking & Studio Terms

By using this website and booking with Hair Essence, you agree to the following.

Booking & appointments

Hair Essence is a private, one-on-one, by-appointment studio. Requesting a time online reserves your spot; for first-time guests, Patrice personally reaches out before your visit with the exact studio address and any prep details.

Cancellations & no-shows

Cancellations must be made within 24 hours. A $25 fee applies on or before your next booking if not.

• Please arrive on time — more than 10 minutes late may result in cancellation.
• Services are a one-on-one experience; no extra guests during your appointment.
• A parent or guardian must accompany minor clients (except ages 14+).
• First-time guest? Patrice will personally reach out before your appointment with the studio address and to answer any questions.

Payments

Payment is made in the studio by cash or card. If deposits or a card-on-file hold are introduced in the future, you'll be told clearly before any charge is made.

Photos & content

Photographs, the service menu, and all content on this site belong to Hair Essence and may not be copied or reused without permission. Reference photos you upload remain yours; you give us permission to use them only to prepare for your appointment.

Results & consultations

Every head of hair is different. Results depend on your hair's type, length, and condition, and a consultation is recommended — and required for first-time guests — so your first style is the right one.

Site information

We keep this site accurate, but prices, services, and hours may change. The site is provided on an “as is” basis.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
